New York Jets (+10) at Indianapolis Colts 44.5 [O]
The line for this baby started at 14.5 and the Jets backers bet it down to an even 10.
I thought Carson Wentz would have achieved more consistency by now, but he can’t seem to avoid the bonehead mistake almost once a game. Last week he gave away the ball twice deep in his own territory.
The Jets, meanwhile, were spanking the newest NFL darling, Bengals in the Meadowlands…
Away from home, the Jets have been just a little less awful than Indy at Lucas Oil Stadium.
I watched a good bit of New York’s Upset over Cincy, and this Jets team might be starting to jell under fiery head coach Robert Saleh.
Ten points just feels like about 3-4 too many to pass on.
I’ll go with Mike White outdueling Wentz and the Colts.
In fact, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Airplanes soar to an outright win—and prove once again, in the NFL there’s not a lot separating a 2-5 team from a 3-5 team.
Once the spread plummeted to Colts-10 the Sharks and the public went riding with the Baby Horses, big time. I saw three computer picks calling for an Indy rout.
I’ll stick with my first instinct; the Jets will keep it close—Over the Total.
