Everybody, their mothers, and the Sisters of Mercy are betting their money on the Seagulls to clean the floor of Soldier Field with Da Bears--as thoroughly as those Charmin Bear hucksters on TV wipe their red asses.
I’m not kidding. Over 90% of the money wagered so far is backing the ‘Hawks--and I’ve never seen that lopsided a dynamic plying this handicapping hobby for 16 years.
It's like, enjoy Seattle going all over the Windy City.
Usually such near-unanimous support for one NFL side compels the Sharp money--including the not so sharp Gairzo--to the opposite side and, more often than not, that proves to be a winning gambit.
I just can’t bring myself to back the Ursines here. The entire organization from owner to towel boys is a hot toddy of catastrophe, and even though the half-point hook worries me, I have to take the Seattles, who are playing for a division, over the Bears, who are playing for a vacation--or should I say praying?
Chicago is such a disaster right now, Mike Singletary couldn’t clean up all the crap soiling his once-proud franchise if he was armed with steel wool Dude Wipes.
(I know what you’re thinking--(”How far can this sick bastard take the metaphor?”)
Answer: At least three or four pages more...
Take the ‘Gulls , lay the Points and bet the Under.
Seattle 30
